Dan Blackman, Co-founder and Chief Executive, Super Info

Dan Blackman is the Co-founder and Chief Executive of Super Info, Australia’s leading online provider of family law valuations for the Australian Government defined benefit superannuation schemes. Dan created Super Info over five years ago as a 24/7 resource that harnesses the power of technology to improve reliability and reduce the costs associated with defined benefit family law valuations. Dan is also the chief editor of the Super Info Bulletin, which is a limited distribution twice yearly magazine designed for those working in family law, financial services, and the superannuation industry more generally. Dan has more than 12 years experience helping thousands of defined benefit members and their families to understand their defined benefit superannuation. Before starting Super Info, he held senior roles within the Australian Government’s Commonwealth Superannuation Administration, including as the director of ComSuper’s contact centre delivering superannuation information services to Australian Public Servants and Defence Force personnel. He has a Master of Business Administration and a Diploma in Financial Planning among other qualifications and superannuation achievements. His volunteer roles have included pro bono work for veteran charity, Wandering Warriors, and the Superannuated Commonwealth Officers Association (SCOA).
