Litigating the Human Rights Act

The ACT Law Society in partnership with the ACT Bar Association and the ACT Human Rights Commission are proud to bring you a session with human rights expert Kylie Evans KC. Kylie will take practitioners on an exploration of those areas of law where the Human Rights Act 2004 is currently underutilised, but where it may prove consequential in legal advocacy. The presentation is relevant to a cross section of the profession, including for those working in criminal defence, civil and administrative claims and the youth justice and child protection spaces.
