Law Society welcomes ACT's newest Judge

The ACT Law Society today issued a warm welcome to The Honourable Acting Justice Robert Crowe, who has joined the bench of the ACT Supreme Court.

Justice Crowe will be an acting judge for 12 months, while Associate Justice Verity McWilliam is on maternity leave.

Robert Crowe SC is a very experienced barrister who has been at the ACT Bar for many years. He was first called to the Bar in NSW in 1988, and was appointed a Senior Counsel in the ACT in 2003. He will be a valuable addition to the ACT Supreme Court bench.

We welcome the ongoing trend of appointing very capable local practitioners as local judicial officers, and wish Justice Crowe a smooth transition to the Bench.
