The Law Council of Australia represents the Australian legal profession and its constituent bodies on national and international issues, and advocates improvement of the administration of justice, access to justice and the law.

The ACT Law Society is a constituent member of the Law Council of Australia as are all other law societies and bar associations in Australia.
