ACT Law Week
National Law Week will be held from Monday 17 May - Saturday 22 May 2010. Law Week is a national annual event that aims to promote greater understanding within the community of the law, the legal system and the legal profession.
In the Australian Capital Territory, Law Week raises money for a local charity - this year Galilee. Galilee has been providing care for disadvantaged babies, children and young people for over 20 years and are a community based not-for-profit organisation. It is also a chance for lawyers to let their hair down a bit. Law Week traditional favourites are the famous Quiz Night and the mixed Soccer Competition.
